Katie Taylor can grow to be a world champion when she challenges Christina Linardatou for its WBO super-lightweight belt live on Sky Sports.
The Irish superstar has been crowned as the most lightweight champion following a hard-fought triumph over Delfine Persoon in June and currently targets a global name in a higher weight class at Manchester Arena, with Anthony Crolla’s farewell battle and Joshua Buatsi’s WBA light-heavyweight title eliminator against Blake Caparello.
Taylor plans to cement her status as the world’s greatest female fighter in the near future and fully is currently relishing her WBO title battle at the major event.
“I had a number of my first pro fights at the Manchester Arena and to return in November and headline a card a couple years on is great,” said Taylor.

However, Linardatou, together with one loss and 12 wins, believes she can inflict a first professional defeat on Taylor.
“I intend on leaving England with my name,” she explained. “If I want to knock Katie Taylor outside as a way to retain the title, that’s what I will do.”
Mancunian Crolla yields to the scene of his triumph, a stoppage win to make the WBA lightweight belt in November 2015, after falling short against unified winner Vasiliy Lomachenko before this year and also the 32-year-old will have one fight.
