As we head into the vacation szn, one of our favourite gambling events is set to take place. No, not soccer that is Thanksgiving. Not by a longshot. I’m speaking about Miss Universe.
This Sunday, each the Misses from all over the globe will gather in where else but amazing Las Vegas to summit the best of them all.
Fortunately for us watching the event on TV, we could bet on the winner at Bovada. I’ve observed every Miss Universe pageant since I was six, but that is just me.
The 3 favorites are Miss South Africa, Miss Thailand, and Miss Colombia. How they determined on this, I have no idea, but let’s take a look at the contestants.
Miss Thailand: +400 If there was a best name class in this event, she’d surely triumph, but apparently she has a situation at winning the crown no matter. Maria Poonlertlarp is a 6??? tall 25-year-old Thai woman with a Master’s diploma. Among her goals is to cut down on teenage pregnancy in her home country. Great for her. Next contestant.
Miss South Africa: +450 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has hyphens in both her first and last name, which is something I cannot say I have seen previously. She earned two leadership positions. Nicely done. Next contestant.
Miss Colombia: +500 Hailing from Colombia, Laura Gonz??lez is a 22 year old performer. Perhaps not the most noble of ambitions compared to the others, but what do you do? She wants to become a celebrity, go get em girl.
I could do that all day , but let us jump the others and take a look at Miss USA.
Miss USA: +1200 Miss District of Columbia (which I didn’t understand was something ) and Miss USA K??ra McCullough will probably be looking to bring another crown to her collection. This nice young girl is pretty badass if I do say so myself. She has a diploma in radiochemistry and currently works as a scientist to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Sounds kind of significant…
She has also been giving back to the community by teaching kids math and science within her program”Science Exploration for Kids”. Although I am biased, but give her the award now! She has the intangibles, all she wants is the poise. Poise counts!
