As we head into the holiday szn, one of our favourite gaming incidents is set to happen. No, not Thanksgiving football. Not by a longshot. I am speaking about Miss Universe.
This Sunday, each of the Misses from around the globe will gather in where else but beautiful Las Vegas to crown the best of them all.
Fortunately for us seeing the case on TV, we can bet on the winner in Bovada. I have seen every Miss Universe pageant because I was six, but that is just me.
The 3 clear favorites include Miss South Africa, Miss Thailand, and Miss Colombia. How they determined on this, I have no idea, but let us take a look at the contestants.
Miss Thailand: +400 When there was a best name category in this event, she would surely triumph, but apparently she has a case at winning the crown no matter. Maria Poonlertlarp is a 6??? tall 25-year-old Thai woman with a Master’s degree. One of her goals is to help cut down on adolescent pregnancy in her home nation. Good for her. Next contestant.
Miss South Africa: +450 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has hyphens in her first and last name, which is something I cannot say I have seen previously. She earned two leadership positions at her high school. Well done. Next contestant.
Miss Colombia: +500 Hailing from Colombia, Laura Gonz??lez is a 22 year old performer. Perhaps not the most commendable of aspirations compared to others, however, what do you do? She wishes to become an actress, go get em girl.
I could do this all day , but let’s jump the others and take a peek at Miss USA.
Miss USA: +1200 Miss District of Columbia (which I didn’t know was something ) and Miss USA K??ra McCullough will be looking to add another crown for her collection. This nice young girl is pretty badass if I do say so myself. She has a degree in radiochemistry and currently works as a scientist to the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission. Sounds kind of important…
She has been giving back to the community by teaching children math and science within her program”Science Exploration for Kids”. Perhaps I am biased, but give her award now! She has the intangibles she needs is the poise. Poise counts!
