“I’ve thought about it,” Mings told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“There is not a lot that I haven’t thought of in terms of what could and could not occur. I don’t have any grudges over Southampton. I really don’t hold any grudges within the decisions they made because if I’m totally honest they were probably justified at the time.
“I wasn’t quite large enough, I was not very physically developed enough to possibly cope with the requirements of the game. It’ll be a fitting story if I made my debut at St Mary’s and arrived full circle.”
Mings included:”I don’t think that it would feel much more or less particular doing it in St Mary’s than it would anywhere else.”
